NEWSFLASH!
SoOOOOOO, how far back do I need to know about the History of UK? From the earlier Victorian Days? BC? AD?????
This will be very interesting! It will definitely benefit us all for sure!
This gives me an excuse to purchase the book of British History!
Like My dad Always says to me, “God Save the Queen!”
Tahun 2003
“Beberapa hari lagi Syawal akan tiba… Banyak lagi yang harus dilakukan… Tak tahu yang mana satu...
Kuih-muih semua sudah siap! Mak kata tahun ini kita buat 4 macam ajer sebab tak larat nak bersengkang mata bakar kuih! Hee! Hee! Tak kisahlahkan?! Kita pergi Johor belilah kuih-muih yang patut! Borong semua kerepek-kerepek, kuih-kuih, kacang-macang… Ni kena cari kaki nih… Pergi Johor ramai-ramai borong kat sana sambil buka puasa… Belilah apa yang patut… pasu bunga, bunga plastik… Mesti Syiok… Geylang - Ada tapi semuanya mahal-mahal belaka… Selalunya kita pergi Geylang hanya nak menikmati suasana riuh-rendah di sana… Kalau ada yang murah-murah, mestilah beli kan?
Dinding-dinding that need paint dah cat dah! (bukan cat-kucing, tapi cat-paint) Rumah dah dibersihkan – berseri-seri!
Haiiiszzzzz...
Walaubagaimanapun, meriah tetap meriah, Kecoh tetap kecoh bila membakar kuih dengan mak! Eh! Betul ker ayat ni? Bunyi macam lain ajer kan? Bakar kuih dengan mak? Alah! Asalkan maknanya dapat come across kira okaylah! Ayah pulak, biasalah, rileks, tengok tv… Bila Malam Raya, kecoh Ayah bagitau kat kita rancangan apa yang disajikan oleh Suria, RTM 1, 2 & TV3… Kita pun apalagi, potong-memotong timun, sengkuang, lengkuas, lobak, sawi, kentang, bawang dan lain –lain bahan yang diperlukan untuk masak, dihadapan TV… Hee! Hee! Itu yang syioknyer!!! Bukan sebab dapat tengok tv, tapi dapat duduk bersama Mak, ayah… ketawa, gembira… bersama… Mak pun dapatlah berehat sekejap dan menikmati “juadah” televisyen sampai 2, 3 pagi!!! Ha! Ha! Kadang-kadang mak kata mak stress bila kena masak pagi-pagi buta… Tapi aku cubalah ringankan beban dia seberapa yang boleh supaya dia tak stress sangat dengan menghulurkan bantuan yang seberapa boleh dan selagi diperlukan kan? Haaiiizzz…. Kecoh, kecoh! Walaupun hanya kami bertiga, tapi kecoh tetap kecoh sebab aku nih bila berbual-bual volumenyer selalu Maximum High, ayah pulak suka sekali menyakat dan buat lawak… :D
Pagi syawal lah yang selalu sebak… Mendengar Takbir berkumandang... Kakak sekeluarga datang ke rumah – anak-anak buah berbaju raya, cantik sekali… Comel sungguh mereka kelihatan… Boria sekeluarga… Warna dan corak semua sama…

Pictures Anyone
So, anyhooo... I'm really excited about Eid... well, it won't be the same like it will be in Singapore but it will do fine... Got an invitation from my boss to her house for Eid... Looking forward to that... Find out how a Pakistani family celebrate Eid. Then over the weekend, the in-law family and some friends will be joining us for Dinner as I, Chef MamiJarum will do her very best to feed them with Malay Traditional dishes... Right now, still thinking of what to whip up... Few items here and there... like Pacri Nenas, Ayam Masak Merah, Rendang Daging (typical dishes), Sambal Tumis Udang, Sambal Goren and Lontong jangan lupa yer! What else? What else? Any ideas ladies & gents? Other different dishes? The Kueh Mueh, I was thinking kueh Lapis and Ondeh-Ondeh...? Does it sound okay? I will be feeding about 15 to 20 people so loads of work need to be done! Any assistance? Hmmm... James? Mum-in-law? We'll see...
Well, I'm the sort of person who like to do all myself. I mean, it will be much of great help to have someone assist you but somehow, I rather do it myself... Coz I know where I'm heading, I know what I'm doing and I know where everything is... Know what I mean?
I've miss so much news & updates on blogs that I donno where to start! Gotta start somewhere & I promise that I will read all the updates... I feel really guilty...
We went to Fuerteventura, that's in the Canary Island and it's a very beautiful place... Mind you, it's not really a tourist friendly environment but still, weather's beautiful, the beaches are beautiful and it just felt great to be away just the two of us... 90% of the people there does not speak English & so communication is really tough... We somehow felt like we are in their way... That's somehow the feeling that we get from them... Like we're not welcome there? Everything there is expensive - food, drinks, clothes, departmental stores... I mean everything!
Must continue later... Need to cook for Iftar!
Pictures will be at http://massylassy.fotopages.com Enjoy them boys & girls and yes, for those who know me well, I HAVE GAIN those pounds and I AM trying real hard to shed those extra pounds off me ALRIGHT?! Leave me alone! Stop judging me! I know I've gain ALOT and my face is as round as a BALL! I'm not thrilled about it but maybe it's because I'm HAPPY???? Hee! Hee!!! Enjoy those pictures guys!
I LOVE YOU too...

Cold, Cold, Cold...
First time in my life, I’ve signed up for Yoga. Last Thursday, me and my pal decided to give Yoga a try. How was it? Well, let me tell you that it’s all about the bending and stretching and paying lots of attention to what the instructor is trying to tell you… She’s gorgeous, and very bendy but what with the peaceful, relaxing, twinkling music at the background playing a wee bit loud, can’t really hear her directions clearly & End up me and my girl looking at each other and mouthing, “What we suppose to be doing?” or “Are we doing this right?” or “Huh?”
It was painful! Excruciating torture; but I feel that it’s worth it… Must think of the end results… What’s the end result from Yoga?
One thing for sure that she didn’t do is welcoming us, introducing herself and also she fail to let us know what it’s all about… So, despite all that…
And she says, “Right, now lets slowly bend your knees and slide forward slowly with your chin on the ground. Now slowly lift your head and your legs up… slowly… take your time and just stay in that position for 1 minute before you slowly release it and go back to the position... and do it again, don’t forget to breathe…”
That wasn’t bad at all, until she told us to balance ourselves with just one leg while we hold the other foot from behind and stretch those muscles as far as we can go… Aaaaarrgghh… That hurts but… niceeeee…
Definitely will do the Yoga again after holiday…
Yes, I know… You must be saying, why are you going holiday at this time of the month? Believe me, it slip our mind… Booked this holiday like months back and totally slip our mind… Sigh… Can’t cancel it coz got to pay penalty fee or something like that which is an extortion…
My back is aching now… Not sure if it’s from the Yoga or from the fact that yesterday, I’ve got to carry about 50 GCLs that weigh about 5 kg each & 10 GCLs that weigh about 7 kg into this wooden box for them to lift it up to the cutting area… this is what you get when you work in a small company comprise of only 4 people (2 Boss, 1 Lab operator and me – Admin.Project Manager, cleaner, coolie). We’ve got to do everything ourselves… We’ve got to do EVERYTHING full stop!
Tired now! Feeling the pain now… Must go and rest…

Today's Positive Note...
Being defeated is often a
temporary condition.
Giving up is what makes it
permanent.
