As what Bunkerangs mention on her blog, bila kita nak tulis our blog, susah betul nak dapatkan idea, tapi bila tengah membasuh ker, masak ker, idea mencurah-curah macam waterfall… Bila duduk mengadap komputer, satu habak idea tak menjelma… Pikiak punya pikiak sampai pening kepala… hee! Hee! Tapi taklah sseteruk gituk kan… Sekali lagi, Mj nak cakap pasal cuaca di negeri orang ini… Iskh… Bilalah agaknya MJ dapat get use to this weather… Sejuk satu macam ajer sebab tulah tak sabar MJ dan James nak pulang ke tanahair ku, Singapura! Agaknya dah fed up you all kan dengar MJ on and on about trip back home! Apa tak excitednya – dua minggu babe! No, make it 17 days babe! Tak lah as lucky as Ely who will be going back to Singapore for 1 month in July… Untung sekali dia dapat tinggal lama-lama tapi kira Alhamdulillah dapat jugak balik kan? Jangan khuatir, August nanti kami akan pulang ke Singapura sekali lagi selama seminggu untuk hadirkan diri di majlid perkahwinan teman karib ku… Cewah!!!! Hati ku sungguh riang dan gembira….
It was a lazy weekend for us… Didn’t do anything exciting but just went for a walk with James just around our area and to the park… It was as usual a cold and dark and miserable weather/day… We decided to just walk for half an hour and head back home soon as possible seeing how chilly it was outside!!! Back to our warm comfortable sofa… Made drinks for ourselves – a cup of hot cocoa with cream for him and a cup of hot, hot, hot coffee for me and the spare duvet we used it to cover our cold legs. We decided to watch Ocean’s Twelve (again) on DVD and after that will be the Smokey and the Bandit Part 3 DVD…
Today after work, we’ll be picking up Mike & May and shoot off to Bradford to watch a film and also have our tea at Nandos… I better not eat too much as I have my weighing on Wednesday and gotta make sure that I behave…
It’s Valentine’s Day tomorrow… The whole world is celebrating this day but do we really know what this Valentine’s Day actually means? Why do some Muslims celebrate this day knowing that there’s no significance to it all? Hmmmm…. Ponder, ponder….

Yea, me too, sometimes I have no idea of what to put on my blog. Back then, I only had like 2 entries a month. Now at least, a little better ;) Ada audience lah, konon, so berkobar2 sikit nak post something :D But the weekly challenges help make me be more active.
Ahhh I don't think I've ever celebrated Valentine's Day. One time I was like maybe 12 yrs old and was just looking at the pretty cards at the mall and this kaypoh old lady came up to me and asked me if I knew what Valentine's Day was. Urrrgh!! Kaypoh nye nyonya nie. I said I didn't, but the cards look pretty enuf to buy for myself. But if you look into the history, u know that it's about a Saint and has nothing to do with what it is now - commercialized and a way for floral shops to make tons of money out of the regular $1 roses [i think on regular days they are $1 each... i don't buy, so i dunno...]. It's so commercialized here, it's ridiculous, which makes me even hate that day even more. In fact, I think I am the Grinch of Valentine's day! hehehee! I didn't send my bf anything. He sent me only 2 e-cards. Ok lah, that didn't cost him anything. I don't want him to buy me anything related to Valentines. Not over religious reasons. Just that I don't want him to waste his money when he can get me stuff at regular price on a regular day. Banyak membebel pulak I nie.... :D
yep..it's more or less a hallmark holiday. we hate it too. stuff like boss's day lah this day lah that day lah..so many days nowadays...hahaha...true about the saint thing hartini. but why wait till valentines just to show or profess your love..why not do it anytime..lagik best kan..hahaa. this morning hub came back and said, well today is valentines..so happy valentines...he apologised for forgetting..and i also didn't think about it. not that we celebrate it lah..hehe..he just mentioned it..just in case i was expecting him to and not wanting to get into trouble with me..haahahaa
MJ, u going back in august too? which date? i might be there till august 20th.
no V day for us. no flowers allowed, waste of money. no fancy dinner allowed, long waiting time. we had sushi cos we felt like it. u know, that was our first time ever going out to dinner on V day, itupun we did not enjoy it!
but it sure was fun seeing everyone in my office wearing red and pink... so cute!
